Learning ~ Inspiration ~ Feedback ~ Encouragement
2.30pm - 5.00pm: 2nd & 4th Sunday of every month
What
Named for the Greek Goddesses of eloquence,
a muse is an artist’s source of inspiration.
Muse writers’ group is about writers becoming muses for each other.
We aim to help breathe life into your writing by offering a source of:
Learning ~ Inspiration ~ Feedback ~ Encouragement
Our meetings focus on giving you the opportunity to:
- practice writing
- develop your skills
- gain thoughtful, encouraging feedback
- socialise with other writers and inspire each other
The atmosphere is participative and fun and supports everyone developing at their own pace.
Who
Everyone who could use a muse in their lives is invited.
All age groups and levels of experience are welcome.
That includes serious writers, emerging writers, recreational dabblers and the chronically curious…
All formats and genres are welcomed, but along with developing your preferred style, you will be encouraged to “cross-train” in other mediums and discover new talents.
How
The group’s main role is to host fortnightly writers’ meetings to function as a muse for everyone and breathe life into your writing.
There will also be a website which will contain information and writing resources along with the option for participants to upload work for comment.
Other activities, such as writers’ retreats and special events, may be offered over time if participants are interested.
